Angela Bender Joins Naperville CARES

Naperville CARES is proud to announce Angela Bender as the organization's Marketing and Communications Associate. Bender is responsible for branding the organization and building community awareness and support for its mission.

She joins Naperville CARES with over 20 years of experience in communications, public relations, marketing and writing with employment and clients including Sun-Times Media, First Alert and Checker Motors. Bender holds a degree in Communications from Purdue University. As a resident of Naperville and mother of four, Bender is also active in Indian Prairie District 204 and St. Raphael Catholic Parish.

In her current role as Marketing and Communications Associate, Bender will execute social media, manage and produce marketing materials, work with the business community to develop events and oversee volunteer committees including CARES two signature events, Toasting for a Cause and Cuisine for a Cause.

“I’m very excited for the opportunity to work with Naperville CARES and Janet Derrick,” said Bender, “I feel that my unique professional background will complement my new responsibilities at CARES, and that we will be able to communicate our mission to Naperville in a way that will result in even more support and awareness within the community.”
