The Aurora 88s Roller Derby League recently volunteered at the Naperville Humane Society in an effort to give back to the community. Skaters enjoyed cleaning cages, walking dogs, doing laundry and completing other cleaning duties to help the staff and animals.
Every month the Aurora 88s donates a portion of their bout proceeds and time to a different charity. The next league bout is at 7 p.m. on Feb 12 at the Aurora Skate Center, 34W113 Montgomery Road, Aurora and will benefit the American Heart Association.
