Choose DuPage Announces New Hire

Choose DuPage is pleased to announce that Jennifer Ganser has been hired as their new business development analyst. She will officially start Feb. 1.

Ganser’s role as business development analyst will be to collect and analyze economic data for Choose DuPage and to update information for economic indicators and business proposals.

Ganser joins Choose DuPage with more than 10 years of experience in urban planning and economic development, including municipal, regionalism and consulting work. She also has experience with zoning, economic development incentives and long-range planning. Prior to joining Choose DuPage as the business development analyst, she worked as a consultant, supporting economic development programs and researching economic trend data. She was also the economic development coordinator for the city of Des Plaines, Ill., where she was responsible for business attraction and retention.

Ganser has a bachelor’s degree in the science of commerce from DePaul University in Chicago and a master’s degree in urban planning and policy from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She resides in Naperville, Ill., and volunteers with Junior Achievement in her spare time.
