Dog Found in Aurora

A reader was driving near Rt. 34, just west of Eola Road, when she found a dog, which appears to be a German shorthair pointer. She found the dog at around 11:45am Thursday.  He wasn't wearing a collar.  She stopped at a local veterinarian to see if he was micro-chipped, but no luck. She took him to Animal Control in Aurora (600 S. River St.).  She said he's obviously someone's pet, he was gentle and rode nicely in the car.
