Mayor Pradel Shares a Story with Students at Chesterbrook Academy

Naperville Mayor George Pradel read to children at in Naperville, Ill. Mayor Pradel shared the stories of Curious George and the Firefighters and Clifford’s Halloween with the students.

The mayor visited the preschool as part of KidsMatter’s Families Matter Month, which promotes healthy habits among communities and families.

KidsMatter is an organization serving the greater Naperville area that runs several community-wide programs seeking to help families thrive.

The inaugural Families Matter Month ran from Sept. 26 through Oct. 23, and it focused on four types of activities that families can do together to encourage healthy development in children: eating together, serving the community together, reading together, and playing together.
