Art By 6 Teens To Be Featured On Streetlight Boxes In Naperville
See which teens were selected to have their original art on display in downtown Naperville this summer.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Six teen artists will have their original art displayed on streetlight control boxes in downtown Naperville this summer. The city announced a Call for Teen Artists in spring and announced the winning selections Friday.

Of the 30 submissions received by the city, here are the artists who were selected:
- Avani Aggarwal from Neuqua Valley High School
- Jumana Janoowalla from Neuqua Valley High School
- Soha Javaid from Neuqua Valley High School
- Olivia Mancha from Neuqua Valley High School
- Annie O’Boyle from Neuqua Valley High School
- Alice Wang from Naperville Central High School
“We are very pleased with the artwork chosen for the six streetlight controller boxes. Each of the finalists displayed their talents in such a unique way. It’s exciting to be part of this project, and I can’t wait to see the finished product,” City Clerk Dawn Portner shared in a statement.

It's anticipated all the artwork will be up by June 30.
Pornter added,“The City of Naperville would also like to thank all the students who submitted their artwork. The student talent we have in this City is amazing."
