Aurora Teen Charged in Fatal Crash That Killed Metea Student

A 15-year-old Aurora teen was charged with reckless homicide in connection to a car accident that killed Metea Valley sophomore Devin Meadows.

A 15-year-old Aurora boy was charged in a car accident that crashed into a home and killed Metea Valley High School sophomore Devin Meadows, according to NBC Chicago.

Logan Krogman, 15, of the 800 block of Amli Ct., in Aurora, was charged with reckless homicide Friday after allegedly taking his father's car on a joyride with Meadows and two other teens on Oct. 23, NBC Chicago reports. 

Meadows was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident after a 2012 Chevy Malibu he was in lost control and crashed into a garage.

Hundreds of students and friends gathered for a vigil for Meadows, which was held at Faith Lutheran Church on Oct. 24.
