Become A 'Face Of Compassion' At Naperville's Loaves & Fishes

Anyone who donates to the org, which is hoping to buy new food storage units, can submit a photo for its new "Faces of Compassion" wall.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Loaves & Fishes Community Services' newest initiative aims to increase the number of families it serves and expand its geographic area – and community members who support that mission can be included on its future "Faces of Compassion" wall.

Through its Building for Lasting Impact initiative, the organization also hopes to increase the amount of healthy food it offers and provide several ways for clients to receive that food, it said in a news release.

Anyone who supports the initiative with a donation of $250 or more is invited to submit a photo – of themself or of a spouse, child, or other special relative – that will be included in an expansive piece of artwork called the "Faces of Compassion Wall."

"The cornerstone of the project is the acquisition of an additional building that will serve as our food processing hub," the news release reads. "Key elements of the building are the large refrigerators and freezers making it possible to receive and serve more healthy food. Construction continues as we make the changes necessary for the building to open this fall."
