Bicyclist Struck by Semi in Nearby Warrenville Dies
Warrenville police are seeking witnesses after a 30-year-old bicyclist who crashed into a semi-truck early Friday morning died.

A 30-year-old Warrenville man died Saturday at Cadence Hospital in Winfield as a result of injuries he suffered after his bicycle struck a semi-truck early Friday morning.

The incident occurred around 12:07 a.m. Friday when a semi-truck travelling southbound on Route 59 near Continental Drive in nearby Warrenville was hit by an adult male bicyclist, according to the Warrenville Police Department.

The Warrenville Police Department is asking anyone that witnessed the accident to call 630-393-2131. The investigation into the accident remains open.
