NAPERVILLE, IL — A passerby reported a fire that broke out in a duplex on Eldorado Lane left residents displaced early Saturday.

Firefighters were called to the 2500 block of Eldorado Lane just after midnight and arrived to find fire in a bedroom on the second floor of one of the homes. It took about 20 minutes for crews to contain the fire.

No one was home at the time of the blaze, according to a news release. Two firefighters sustained minor injuries, but were treated at the scene and released.

It's estimated that the fire, the cause of which remains under investigation, resulted in $200,000 in damage.
