NAPERVILLE, IL — A proposal to build a Chick-fil-A restaurant on Ogden Avenue has gotten the go-ahead from Naperville's Planning and Zoning Commission.

On March 20, the planning and zoning commission approved the petition to build a and a 5,025-square-foot restaurant at 1159 E. Ogden Ave. with a two-lane drive-thru.

The petitioner, HR Green Development, had requested a deviation and major change to the planned unit development (PUD) at Iroquois Center to request an exception to the PUD's bypass lane requirement for drive-thrus. Additionally, the petitioner requested a deviation that would allow Chik-fil-A to post a monument sign within 35 feet of the Iroquois Center's tenant monument sign, as opposed to the adhering to the requisite 200 feet between monument signs.
