City Buildings Closing To Public Nov. 20 Due To Increase In COVID-19 Cases
The City is urging Naperville residents to follow new guidance from the Illinois Department of Public Health.
To help mitigate the spread of COVID-19 in the community, the City of Naperville is closing all City buildings to the public beginning Friday, Nov. 20 and urging residents to follow new guidance from the Illinois Department of Public Health.
New state restrictions that go into effect Friday are expected to last for at least two weeks – or until there are decreases in test positivity rates and hospitalizations. These restrictions urge the public to stay at home as much as possible, limit gatherings and celebrate upcoming holidays only with members of their household. The updated guidelines also place new regulations on retail stores, personal care services, fitness centers, hotels, workplaces, bars and restaurants, recreational activities, theaters and cultural institutions.
