NAPERVILLE, IL — Police in Naperville plan to ramp up patrols for the 2024 Thanksgiving holiday. The initiative is part of the statewide "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" and "Click It or Ticket" campaigns.

Officers will be on the lookout for drunk or altered drivers, seatbelt misuse and other violations.

“Thanksgiving means more vehicles on the road and an increased risk of crashes,” Naperville Police Sgt. Derek Zook said in a statement.
