Cops To Ramp Up Patrols For Route 59 Safety Initiative

NAPERVILLE, IL — Motorists will notice an increased police presence on Route 59 as part of a traffic safety campaign planned for May 9.

Naperville police will be joined by the following agencies:

• Aurora
• Bartlett
• Hoffman Estates
• Joliet
• Shorewood
• Streamwood
• Warrenville

Law enforcement officers will target drivers who are distracted, impaired, not using seatbelts or committing other traffic infractions in their jurisdictions.
