Deck Fire Displaces Family From Naperville Home
The fire started around 1 a.m. Monday on Kaiser Court.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Two children and two adults were displaced from their home after a fire broke on the deck of their house in the 700 block of Kaiser Court early Monday.
Fire crews got to the scene around 1:15 a.m. and found the deck fire was spreading to the house's attic. The residents had gotten out of the house safely before firefighters arrived and one of the residents had used a garden hose to try to put out the flames.
The blaze was contained within 20 minutes, but caused an estimated $50,000 in damage to the residence. Fire officials say the cause was determined to be charcoals that had not been disposed of properly.
