Duck Donuts Brings Made-To-Order Creations To Naperville

The popular donut shop known for making piping hot pastry creations throughout the day celebrated its grand opening to big crowds.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Naperville residents in search of a sweet treat that is made to order throughout the day now have another option without leaving town to get it.

Duck Donuts, which is known for making hot, fresh doughy creations throughout the day, opened its latest location over the weekend with a grand opening event in Naperville. The newest store, which is located at 3124 South Route 59, celebrated the occasion with a 6 a.m. door opening on Saturday, drawing donut connoisseurs and local residents alike well before the popular shop opened for business.

The Naperville store is owned by native and longtime resident Kevon Gardner along with Elise Gardner, former corporate executive and CPA with over forty years of professional experience.

The 1,600-square-foot retail shop reflects Duck Donuts’ beach theme and family-friendly atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating. In addition to donuts, the Naperville location serves Duck Donuts’ signature coffee blend, espresso beverages, donut breakfast sandwiches, donut sundaes, frozen beverages, milkshakes, select retail items, and more.

To celebrate the grand opening in Naperville, the first guest on Saturday received one free dozen donuts per month for a year. The next 50 guests received the Sprinkling Happiness Package, which includes two dozen donuts and a bucket of coffee, for a future visit.

The next 100 guests received a coupon for $2 off a dozen, also for a future visit.

Donuts at the Naperville location will be made fresh to order 7 days a week running from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday.

“We are delighted to begin serving warm, delicious, made-to-order donuts in my hometown of Naperville,” Kevon Gardner said in a news release “We look forward to deepening our roots in our home community and sprinkling happiness with our delicious donuts.”
