DuPage Symphony Orchestra Earns Candid’s Platinum Seal of Transparency

The DuPage Symphony Orchestra (DSO) is proud to announce that it has been awarded the 2025 Platinum Seal of Transparency from Candid, the nation’s largest source of information on nonprofit organizations. The Platinum Seal is Candid’s highest level of recognition and reflects the DSO’s commitment to openness, accountability, and responsible stewardship of donor support.

Candid, which formed when GuideStar and the Foundation Center joined forces, is considered the gold standard for nonprofit data and evaluation. Millions of donors, funders, and community partners rely on Candid’s public database to assess an organization’s financial health, impact, and governance. Achieving the Platinum Seal signals that the DSO shares detailed information about its mission, programs, strategic priorities, and measurable outcomes with the public.
