Sept. 11 is the 20th annual walkathon for the local chapter of the American Parkinson Disease Association. It takes place at the Naperville Riverwalk. The Midwest Chapter's September 11 Walk-A-Thon promises more fun than ever with the introduction of Early Bird Bingo, doggie bandanas for sale, and a record number of raffle prizes, including a grand prize Lazy Boy recliner chair. This family, pet-friendly event extends three miles along Naperville's Riverwalk and is suitable for all fitness levels. All proceeds will go to support PD research.
