Excessive Heat Warning Issued for Naperville
Dangerously hot temperatures are expected Thursday and Friday, according to the National Weather Service.

An excessive heat warning for DuPage and Will County has been issued for Thursday and Friday, according to the National Weather Service.
Temperatures are expected to reach a high near 103 with heat index values as high as 110 on both Thursday and Friday. The warning will remain in effect until 10 p.m. Friday.

An air quality alert has also been issued for Thursday in DuPage and Will County.
This is an orange level alert, which means the air may be unhealthy for sensitive groups.

"Active children and adults, people with respiratory disease, such as asthma, should avoid prolonged outdoor exertion. Everyone else, especially children, should limit prolonged outdoor exertion," according to the National Weather Service.
