Both DuPage and Will County were included in a recently issued Presidential Disaster Declaration. The federal declaration makes assistance available to flood victims, including grants to individuals and households to help with temporary housing, home repairs or replacement and other disaster-related expenses, as well as low-interest Small Business Administration (SBA) loans to residents and businesses, according to the city.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) administers the assistance program. Registration can be done online at www.disasterassistance.gov or by calling 1-800-621-FEMA (3362).
