The fire, which broke out Tuesday night, left the Frances Court home uninhabitable.

NAPERVILLE, IL — A fire burned through the floor of a two-story residence on Frances Court on Tuesday night, leaving the home uninhabitable.
Firefighters were called to the home in the 1000 block of Frances Court just before 8:30 p.m. after someone saw smoke coming from the building's roof. When fire crews got to the scene, they entered the residence and found "heavy smoke" on the residence's first floor, a news release said.
Heavy fire was found on both the first and second floors of the house, with conditions exacerbated by a hole the blaze had burned into the residence's second floor.
