Firefighters Battle Blaze On Deck Of Home On Haverhill Circle

NAPERVILLE, IL — A fire broke out in a home in the 1200 block of Haverhill Circle, causing an estimated $60,000 in damage early Thursday.

Firefighters were called to the residence around 3:35 a.m. for a report of a fire. Residents informed fire personnel that the home's deck had caught fire.

It took fire crews less than 10 minutes to extinguish the blaze, according to a news release. The fire mainly damaged the outside of the house, and the home was deemed to be habitable.
