The George Opens Doors To Diners In Downtown Naperville
The restaurant features modern American fare, fire pits and a lighted pergola in the space once occupied by Bev's.
NAPERVILLE, IL — The George is now open in downtown Naperville, transforming the former Bev's spot with an lighted pergola, fire pits and a menu of modern American cuisine. The indoor dining space with 19th-century vibes inspired by the nearby Pre-Emption House.
The menu at The George features elevated fare that includes oversized burgers, steak frites, or The George's eponymous French dip sandwich. Beer, wine and craft cocktails will be available to complement the cuisine.
Helmed by Empire Restaurant Group, the team behind Bev's, Hizeman's and Empire Burger & Brew, The George aims to create a gathering place "where people can come together over great food and a beautiful setting — casual, but with polish," restaurant co-owner Will Cullen shared in a news release.
