GoFundMe Started For Naperville Student Killed In Avalanche
Naperville Central freshman Aleksas Beiga, 15, was killed in an avalanche in Switzerland Monday, according to reports.

NAPERVILLE, IL — A GoFundMe has been started to help support the family of a Naperville Central freshman Aleksas Beiga, who died in an avalanche in Switzerland Monday, according to reports.
In the fundraiser's description, friends of Beiga's family wrote, "Aleksas embodied the essence of youth – his infectious laughter, boundless energy, and compassionate heart touched the lives of all who knew him."
They added, "The sudden loss of Aleksas has left an irreparable void in the hearts of his family and friends. The pain of his absence is immeasurable, and the grief weighs heavily on all who knew and loved him."

According to NBC, Beiga was one of three people who were killed in the avalanche not far from a ski resort in Zermatt.
