Gordon Ramsay's Naperville Location Set To Open Next Week
Ramsay's Kitchen will open Tuesday on Jefferson Street and is designed to introduce diners to some of the British chef's favorite meals.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Nearly six months after opening celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay would open his second Chicago-area restaurant in downtown Naperville, the eatery inspired by the British-born chef will open next week.
Ramsay’s Kitchen will open on Tuesday, Ramsay’s team announced, promising to deliver some of the chef’s favorite recipes from “from his esteemed culinary career and travels”, the restaurant said in a news release this week.
The restaurant, which is located at 39 W. Jefferson St., also has locations in Las Vegas and Boston. Ramsay, who is the host of the FOX cooking reality show, “Hell’s Kitchen” previously opened a burger restaurant in downtown Chicago and plans to open one of his “Hell’s Kitchen” restaurants on State Street in the near future.

For now, the Naperville restaurant features an all-day menu including main dishes such as crispy skin salmon ($39), fish and chips ($27) pan-seared scallops ($48), and a 24-ounce bone-in ribeye ($88) that can be paired with a lobster tail for an additional $22, will be the lone Chicago-area Ramsay restaurant opening.
“Bringing Ramsay's Kitchen to Naperville allows us to share some of my favorite dishes from my career and highlight cuisines from my travels around the world with locals and visitors of the area," Ramsay said in a statement issued this week. "The restaurant’s team and I are also thrilled to immerse ourselves in the warmth of the Midwest. Great food brings people together, and we can’t wait to welcome guests into the restaurant and become part of this great community.”

According to the celebrity chef, the Naperville locations will occupy more than 5,600 square feet of space and offers seating for 160 guests. The restaurant will also offer a bar, lounge and a seasonal patio.
The space also features an open-concept kitchen, which will give diners a front-row seat to how meals are prepared.
But the space will also have a uniquely Naperville feel, according to a news release with new details about the location.
The bar’s custom millwork will reference the apothecary store formerly in the space, introducing modern details while retaining the artful character, and local vernacular, including the original limestone wall made from the abandoned quarry, now Centennial Beach," the restaurant group announced.
