Gun Seized, 3 Carjacking Suspects Arrested In Naperville
The arrests took place following a carjacking in a different suburb Saturday night.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Police arrested two adults and one juvenile and seized a gun in Naperville in following a carjacking in a nearby suburb.
Officers were called to the 1800 block of South Washington around 7 p.m. for a report that a black GMC Acadia that had been stolen in a carjacking had been spotted. Police say they parked their squad cars to box in the Acadia, at which time they say three people got out of the car and fled on foot.
Police arrested two people shortly after. A third person, identified by police as Ezequiel Lopez-Bey, 22, of Palatine, was arrested after police use K-9s to help find him hiding in a residential shed. Officers reported finding a gun in a backyard where Lopez-Bey had been reportedly spotted.

Lopez-Bey was charged with resisting a peace officer, receiving, selling or possessing a stolen motor vehicle or essential part, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and aggravated fleeing and eluding.
Andrew B. De Lance, 19, of Arlington Heights, was charged with receiving, selling or possessing a stolen motor vehicle or essential part and resisting a peace officer.

The juvenile was released, and Lopez-Bey and DeLance were taken to DuPage County Jail.
