NAPERVILLE, IL — Santa Claus and one of his elves will stop by Water Street for this year's 2024 Holiday stroll. The event, which is free, will be held on Dec. 8.

Santa will be set up by the Great Tree in Jaycees Park, ready to visit with children and pose for photos. The event will also feature a balloon twister and an artist who offers temporary glitter tattoos, so kids can get a little of their own sparkle to the Naper Lights exhibit.

Visitors can warm up with complimentary hot cocoa and snack on holiday-themed cookies as they take part in the merriment and take in the more than 150,000 twinkling lights. The displays depict polar bears, Christmas trees synced to music, and an arch that draws guests into Foyo Plaza.

Perhaps the best way to take in the dazzling lights is by snagging a pair of holographic glasses from the elf who will be onsite. The Dec. 8 festivities kick off at 4 p.m. and wrap up at 7 p.m.

Those who can't make it to the Holiday Stroll can see Naper Lights daily from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. through December 31.
