Monday, June 24
Warrant
Linda Brown Cochran, 53, was arrested at 1:29 p.m. in the 2600 block of West 75th Street, police said. She was charged on a warrant. She posted bond.
Retail theft
- Hywatha L. Smith, 35, was arrested at 2:59 p.m. in the 700 block of Fort Hill Drive, police said. She was charged with retail theft. She posted bond.
- Paul Gregory Jewulski, 31, was arrested at 5 p.m. in the 1200 block of East Ogden Avenue, police said. He was charged with retail theft and transported to DuPage County jail.
No license
Mario Bahena-Sotelo, 38, was arrested at 8:22 p.m. near Diehl Road and North Route 59, police said. He was charged with no driver's license. He posted bond.
iPad stolen
An iPad was stolen from a vehicle parked at PetSmart in the 3100 block of 111th Street, police said.
Window broken
A large window was broken in the 100 block of 4th Avenue, police said.
Bullet strikes home
A home was struck by a bullet in the 2200 block of Club House Avenue, police said. A hole was found in the home's siding where the bullet entered. The bullet was found on the deck of the home by the homeowner.
