'I Want My Daddy:' Video Shows Naperville Man Being Arrested By ICE, Report Says
The video, shared by Chicago Tribune, shows federal immigration agents holding down a man as his children plead for agents not to hurt him.
NAPERVILLE, IL — A Naperville man preparing to take his two sons to school Thursday was arrested by ICE as the children cried and shouted for agents to release him, according to Chicago Tribune.
The 46-year-old man, only identified by his first name, Carlos, was taken into custody by ICE agents near Ogden and 5th Avenues for an outstanding warrant, the Chicago Tribune reports. In the video, you can hear both sons shouting "te amo" and pleading with agents not to hurt Carlos as he is held down by three ICE agents.
At one point, one of the children shouts, "I want my daddy."

The arrest comes amid ongoing ICE activity in and around Chicago as part of Operation Midway Blitz. In late September, workers were arrested by masked ICE agents in Naperville as they repaired a roof in Cress Creek Commons.
In mid-October, U.S. District Judge Sara Ellis ordered federal immigration officers in the Chicago area to wear body cameras amid concerns over aggressive tactics during arrests.
