ICE Agents 'Knocked Down Ladders' to Arrest Roofers In Naperville: Report
A Naperville resident told ABC the roofers were "taken away indiscriminately" by masked ICE agents while doing work on his home.
NAPEVILLE, IL — A Naperville resident said ICE agents pulled ladders from under roofers who were working on his home Wednesday, arresting them "indiscriminately," according to ABC.
The arrests took place "to the distress of workers and many Cress Creek residents," per an earlier article from WGN. The incident comes amid increased ICE activity as part of Trump's "Operation Midway Blitz."

ABC reports that the resident, who was not home at the time of the incident, got phone calls from his neighbors telling him police had surrounded his home. His description of the incident is based on information from neighbors who said they witnessed ICE taking the roofers into custody.
On Sept. 15, at least a dozen immigrants were arrested by masked ICE agents in West Chicago.
