NAPERVILLE - The recognition for being included on Naperville Magazine’s 2021 list of Best Chiropractic Practices is particularly special for co-owner and Chiropractor Dr. Jon Polcyn, who decided to move from the New Lenox office to spearhead this new clinic. “In 2020, we decided to expand the three successful clinic locations we had around western Chicago into the Naperville area and were able to find a perfect situation with CityGate Centre, just off Route 59 and I88.” However, it wasn’t too long after he immediately faced the pandemic and all it’s complications with running a business, let alone a Chiropractic clinic.

Dr. Polcyn remembers, “After the pandemic hit, we had to adjust.” Even Naperville Magazine noted during this time, northeast Illinois was an arduous and dynamic region to run a business in. “To have weathered all that is one thing” Polcyn says, “but then to also find our patients nominated and voted us as a Best In Naperville, in our rookie year so to speak, was nice. It really validated that the personalized, no big sales pressure approach at all our other locations is something our patients really value here in Naperville as well.”

No-Pressure Approach With Appointments

It’s not easy breaking into the Naperville market that is already saturated with healthcare options, let alone making a top list the first year of a clinic’s doors being open. Another part of their success may have to do with how they handle their initial assessments the first time patients come in. “We really believe in a ‘no-pressure approach,” says Dr. Polcyn. “The first time we see a patient, we take a little more time than others often do. We are really trying to find the root cause of their pain. That way we don’t just fix it, but are able to teach the patient how to prevent the problem from ever coming back.”

All the doctors at IPM believe no two bodies are the same, so no two treatment plans should be either. “Integrated Physical Medicine of Naperville provides a well-rounded approach using an integrated model with a wide range of treatment options,” says Dr. Polcyn. “We take the time others often don't to provide one-on-one care, where each plan is customized, individualized and personalized for the relief of their pain.” And he is quick to add, “But we don’t pressure anyone to do anything right then and there.“ Dr. Polcyn and all the doctors at IPM believe “the more the patient is involved with their treatment path, the better the outcome, even if that means giving them the time to commit to getting better.”

Some of the most common ailments that are treated effectively at IPM Naperville are neck pain, back pain, headaches, knee pain, hip pain, shoulder pain, sciatica and pinched nerves. They provide quality chiropractic care and physical therapy for acute pain, chronic pain and general wellness and maintenance care. Dr. Polcyn is also the acting team physician for the Illinois Hawks and Greg Gomez Training Wrestling and sees many athletes at every performance level.

Chiropractic Care Since 2009

Integrated Physical Medicine (IPM) has been helping patients with Chiropractic care, physical therapy and massage therapy for over 12 years. Dr. Polcyn and Dr. Scott Kenny started IPM in 2009, opening their first clinic in New Lenox, IL. That office still remains one of their busiest clinics. Since then, they have opened other clinics in Roselle and Joliet and have five full time Chiropractors. Naperville is now their fourth location.

IPM Naperville is in-network with most PPO/POS plans (BCBS, Aetna, United Healthcare, Cigna and more), as well as some HMO plans, and Medicare. They also accept worker’s compensation and personal injury cases. Individualized payment plans are available to those without insurance coverage. They also offer flexible payment options and are transparent about all costs.

Appointments and new patient evaluations at the Naperville clinic location can be made by calling the office directly at (331) 249-3999. You can also learn more or request an appointment online by visiting https://www.ipmhealthcare.com/naperville.html
