Apollo was trained by the K-9 Hudson Memorial Foundation, a nonprofit that trains and equips K-9s before pairing them with local police departments. The K-9 started working this summer and is described as a "very high energy and athletic dog who is always looking to work," per a post on the NPD Facebook page.
