Kite Fly To Mark 16th Year In Naperville

Visitors can fly their own kites, watch professional demonstrations and listen to live music at the June 4 Kite Fly.

NAPERVILLE, IL — The sky above Frontier Sports Complex will be filled with bright, fluttering kites during a family-friendly Kite Fly planned for June 4. This year marks the 16th Annual Kite Fly in Naperville.

Guests can bring their own kites or relax and watch as professionals perform demonstrations with oversized kites.

Live music will be performed throughout the event to keep the positive energy going. The music schedule is as follows:

  • 12 p.m.: Andrew Huber performs acoustic guitar tunes
  • 1 p.m.: Scribble Monster performs children's music
  • 2 p.m. : Drum ensembles from Metea Valley and Neuqua Valley, along with Metea Valley's mariachi ensemble, will perform live instrumental tunes

Food trucks will be on hand to give guests a way to refuel amid the festivities.

The event is presented by the Naperville Park District and KidsMatter, which provides opportunities and programming for area kids and adolescents in need.
