Lack Of Snow Means Longer Season For Springbrook, Naperbrook

Springbrook and Naperbrook Golf Courses will stay open through Dec. 23. Springbrook will reopen after Christmas and may remain open longer.

NAPERVILLE, IL — This year's unseasonable lack of snow is to thank for extending the season for golfers at Springbrook and Naperbrook Golf Courses. Both courses will stay open at least through Dec. 23, according to an update from Naperville Park District.

Both courses will be closed Dec. 24, Dec. 25, Dec. 31 and Jan. 1. Naperbrook Golf Course will remain closed after Christmas until it reopens next season.

The Springbrook Golf Course will also remain open Dec. 26 through Dec. 30, and may stay open longer if snow does not fall and temperatures remain moderate. Snow on the ground or temperatures that stay below freezing will prompt Springbrook to close. If weather permits, the course's driving range may reopen.
