NAPERVILLE, IL — Le Macaron plans to bring its French pastries, chocolates, gelato, coffee and more to downtown Naperville. The pâtisserie is eyeing a spring 2025 opening at 23 W. Jefferson Ave., according to the Downtown Naperville Alliance.

Founded by the mother-daughter chef team of Rosalie Guillem and Audrey Guillem-Saba, Le Macaron aims to elevate the American experience of macarons, according to Le Macaron's website.

Each of the colorful macarons is made with gluten-free ingredients and available in more than a dozen inventive flavors, including birthday cake, basil white chocolate, cassis and orange Grand Marnier. Seasonal options pop up on the menu to accompany holidays, including a mon cheri flavor in February and a pumpkin flavor in November.

Fans of macarons can also order a macaron cake to celebrate a special occasion.

Though macarons may be the pâtisserie's namesake, they are just the start of Le Macaron's menu items. There's also sorbet, gelato and a macaron glacé gelato that sandwiches gelato insidea macaron.

The selection of French pastries ranges from French waffles and pain au chocolate to éclairs stuffed with caramel, pistachio and other fillings.

Le Macaron has dozens of stores throughout the U.S., including locations in Oak Brook, Schaumburg and Aurora.
