Linebacker Grille Closes After Only 3 Months in Business

Located in the space of the former Show Me's, the family-friendly restaurant celebrated its grand opening in April, but now sits vacant.

After opening only three short months ago,  has closed down.

Celebrating its grand opening back in April, the family-friendly restaurant at 1126 E. Ogden Ave. sits vacant today—signs stripped down and all. Even the restaurant's website is listed as "under construction."

An extensive update to the building's interior was done before it opened. Beckner said he removed much of the wood interior and added a fireplace to the restaurant's dining room. 

Menu prices ranged from about $6.95 for a classic flatbread up to $21.95 for a ribeye chimichurri. Items included appetizers, soups, salads, sandwiches, burgers, entrees and flatbreads. A variety of craft beers, including beer from local brewery Two Brothers Brewing Co., as well as a wine list were also made available to diners.
