Miskatonic Brewing Craft Kitchen Now Open In Downtown Naperville
The Darien-based brewery recently opened its second location in Naperville, offering global cuisine in addition to craft beer.
NAPERVILLE, IL — Miskatonic Brewery recently opened a taproom and craft kitchen in Naperville, serving up global cuisine and housemade fare in addition to the Darien-based company's beloved craft beers and cocktails.
Curated by head chef Daniel Davis, the food menu at Miskatonic Brewing features small plates, including lumpia spring rolls, salt and pepper chicken wings served with house-fermented sweet chili sauce and Dutch war fries with Indonesian peanut sauce, garlic mayonnaise and fresh onions.
Meat-eaters can nosh on a variety of housemade sausages, from a Filipino Longganisa to a Nurnberger bratwurst accented with toasted caraway kraut. The sausage varieties are also available in vegetarian-friendly options.

Salads and handhelds are also available. The chicken schwarma, chicken katsuschnitzel and tocino pork belly draw from Miskatonic's international influences.
Menu ingredients are sourced from farms located in the Midwest, including Froggy Meadow, Heaven's Honey, Mick Klug Farms, Nichols Farm, Sakura Pork and Slagel Farms.

Of course, one of the main draws at Miskatonic Brewing is the beer menu, which features seasonal brews, along with fan favorites. Over-21 diners can also indulge in inventive craft cocktails, such as the Mestiza, a blend of lager, Mexican Coca-Cola and dark rum. The Bitter End cocktail mixes Malort, grapefruit liqueur and simple syrup infused with rosemary for a unique flavor experience.
Wine and zero-proof cocktails are also available.
Miskatonic Brewing Craft Kitchen is open at 47 E. Chicago Ave. Tuesday through Thursday from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. with the kitchen open until 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1:30 a.m., with the full kitchen open until 10 p.m. and a late-night menu available until 11:30 p.m. On Sundays, Miskatonic is open from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m., with the kitchen closing at 8 p.m.
