Mum Sale Helps Mission Of 'We Grow Dreams' Bloom
A mum sale will be held Oct. 12 on Water Street in Naperville, with proceeds benefiting the West Chicago-based We Grow Dreams.
NAPERVILLE, IL — A mum sale will be held on Water Street in Naperville Oct. 12 to help further the mission of We Grow Dreams. The West Chicago-based greenhouse fostered by young adults with special needs.
“This is a perfect opportunity to stop on your way to brunch or shopping on Water Street and support this wonderful cause while you complete your fall decorating,” Nick Ryan, Executive Chairman, Marquette Companies, the developer of Water Street, said in a statement.
Ryan added,“Everything from We Grow Dreams is high quality and beautiful, and each plant is grown with love. We are proud to support their efforts to provide training and employment for these special young adults.”

Since 2004, We Grow Dreams has helped hundreds of residents as they transition from schools to the workforce. At the greenhouse, employees help grow and maintain plants, assist customers, process sales and handle other tasks to keep the facility blooming.
The greenhouse's 2024 season has produced 50 different types of mums.
