NAPERVILLE — Over 150,000 lights will twinkle with holiday cheer for this year's Naper Lights Display. The free lights show opens Thanksgiving night at Foyo Plaza.

Among the dazzling display will be ice skating polar bears, singing holiday trees, snowmen, presents and an illuminated depiction of Santa's sleigh. Santa Claus himself will land at Naper Lights on Dec. 8 to pose for photos and talk to kids about their wishes. Visitors can also get balloon animals and glitter temporary tattoos.

“Water Street is delighted to be partnering with the Sunrise Rotary Club again to continue this popular family tradition. We were the first sponsors of the event years ago, so hosting this on Water Street, where visitors can enjoy it every night through the holidays is awesome,” Nick Ryan, Executive Chairman of Marquette Companies, said in a statement.
