Naperville Adds More Cameras Downtown

There are now 12 cameras downtown, in addition to dozens in city parking garages

A Naperville-based company finished installing the last of six surveillance cameras downtown last week, according to the Naperville Sun.

Pace Systems Inc. was awarded a $117,000 contract last October after police made a request to replace 10-year-old cameras.

"I can say that the picture quality is improved," Deputy Chief Jason Arres told the Naperville Sun. "We hope they will aid us in future investigations"
