Naperville Central Student Wins State Long Jump Event
Zoelen Terry, a junior At Naperville Central High School, won the IHSA state long jump competition in late May.

NAPERVILLE, IL — A Naperville Central High School junior won the boys long jump competition at the Illinois High School Association (IHSA) State Championship tournament in late May.
Zoelen Terry competed in the 3A finals and made a long jump of 7.07 meters. Below, you'll find the stats for the IHSA 2025 long jump state finals.

Of Terry's six long jump attempts, 7.07 meters was the athlete's highest score.
Terry's other attempts included 6.73 meters, 6.64 meters , 6.53 meters, 6.48 meters and one foul. The state meet took place May 29 through May 31 at Eastern Illinois University.
