Naperville Central Student Wins State Long Jump Event

NAPERVILLE, IL — A Naperville Central High School junior won the boys long jump competition at the Illinois High School Association (IHSA) State Championship tournament in late May.

Zoelen Terry competed in the 3A finals and made a long jump of 7.07 meters. Below, you'll find the stats for the IHSA 2025 long jump state finals.

Zoelen Terry of Naperville Central: 7.07 meters

Jordan Lampkins of Bolingbrook: 7.05 meters

Braden Missey of Belleville West: 7.03 meters

Taras Kilchitskyi of Buffalo Grove: 6.93 meters

Malachi Lee of Bradley Bourbonnais: 6.92 meters

Larry Wills of Chatham Glenwood: 6.92 meters

Kwabena Osei-Yeboah of Oak Park-River Forest: 6.90 meters

Daniel Robinson of Neuqua Valley High School: 6.90 meters

Parrish Hartley Jr. of Chicago (Kenwood): 6.89 meters

Trevor Devries of LaGrange: 6.84 meters

Of Terry's six long jump attempts, 7.07 meters was the athlete's highest score.

Terry's other attempts included 6.73 meters, 6.64 meters , 6.53 meters, 6.48 meters and one foul. The state meet took place May 29 through May 31 at Eastern Illinois University.
