Naperville Cops Urge Sober Driving Ahead Of Winter Holidays
Police plan to increase patrols to target drunk and high drivers as Christmas and New Year's Eve approach.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Police are urging drivers in Naperville to stay sober as the winter holidays approach. Starting Friday, the Naperville Police Department will increase enforcement to target drivers who are under the influence.
“If you’ll be celebrating with festive drinks or other impairing substances, make a plan for a safe ride home before you leave for the party,” Naperville Police Sgt. Derek Zook said in a statement. “Driving impaired is simply unacceptable. That’s why we make zero exceptions and arrest all impaired drivers. There are no excuses.”
