Naperville Gears Up For Irish Fest
West Suburban Irish will present Irish Fest Sept. 20 and 21 at Central Park in Naperville.
NAPERVILLE, IL — West Suburban Irish will host Naperville Irish Fest Sept. 20 and Sept. 21 at Central Park. The two-day event will feature Irish music and dancing, football and hurling demonstrations, traditional food and drink and more.
The hours for Irish Fest are 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Sept. 20 and 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Sept. 21.

Irish-themed cultural events are scheduled throughout the weekend, including a chance for Irish residents to find where their ancestors lived via a map of Ireland.
Irish whiskey tastings are slated for 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. Saturday. A Guinness tasting will be held at Quigley's Irish Pub Friday at 6 p.m.
A big draw of Naperville Irish Fest, Irish fare will be available for purchase. Schmaltz Delicatessen will serve up corned beef sliders and sandwiches, Irish mac and cheese and Colcannon with onion gravy, to name a few. Home Run Inn, Sausage Fest Food Truck and the Creamery will also be on hand.
An Irish Village featuring vendors and artisans will be available both days of the festival, as will a children's activity area called Leprechaun Landing.
