Naperville Police Arrest Juvenile For Armed Robbery; Charges Pending
The robbery occurred Sunday evening in the 300 block of Washington Street.
Naperville Police were called to the 300 block of Washington Street at approximately 5:17 p.m. on September 13, 2020 for a report of an armed robbery.
Responding officers were informed that the juvenile victim was sitting with friends in Fredenhagen Park when an unknown male approached him, pointed what appeared to be a handgun at him and demanded cash. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash and left the scene on foot.

Responding officers located the suspect, a 13-year-old from Lisle, a short distance away and took him into custody. Charges against the juvenile are pending, and the incident remains under investigation.
