Naperville Police Investigate Robbery

The incident occurred late Friday night in the 2800 block of Cantore Road.

On Saturday, Dec. 5, 2020, at approximately 1:08 a.m., officers from the Naperville Police Department responded to the 2800 block of Cantore Road for a report of a carjacking. Once on-scene officers located the victim and after their preliminary investigation it was determined that a robbery, not a carjacking had occurred. The offender, who left the scene prior to police arrival, implied he had a gun and stole the victim’s cell phone. No one was injured during this incident, which is also not believed to be a random act.

  • A male, black, 20-30 years old, approximately 6'3", 200 lbs, short black hair.

He possibly fled the area in a black Chevrolet SUV with an unknown registration. It is believed the suspect vehicle was occupied by two other subjects.If anyone has information regarding this incident, they are encouraged to contact the Naperville Police Department at (630) 420-6666 and ask for the Investigations Division.
