Naperville Police Respond to Accidental Crossbow Discharge
A resident reported a shot that broke a window, they didn't know that it came from inside the house

Just before 3 p.m. on Friday Naperville Police responded to a report of "shots fired" on the 1200 block of Johnson Drive, according to a police press release. Responding units closed off portions of Johnson Drive and Stanton Court in their initial response.
The reporting resident met with police and indicated that a rear window of their home had been broken by a projectile.
Upon further investigation, police learned that a male teenager had accidentally fired an arrow from a crossbow inside the house. The arrow never left the house and no one was injured. The adult who called police had not been aware of the incident with the crossbow.
