Naperville Public Schools Top Nationwide 'Best Of' Roundup

NAPERVILLE, IL — Residents in Naperville can enjoy bragging rights now that the city topped Niche's 2024 roundup of the Cities with the Best Public Schools in America and the Best Cities to Raise a Family in America. All this comes amid Naperville being ranked by Niche as the Best City to Live in America.

Niche analyzed 230 cities and more than 18,000 places to compile this year’s ranking. Community attributes considered in developing the list included the health of the local housing market, neighborhood diversity, area public schools and walkability, among others.

Data sources include the U.S. Census Bureau, Bureau of Labor Statistics and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, combined with millions of resident reviews.

In its summary of Naperville, Niche writes, "Living in Naperville offers residents a dense suburban feel and most residents own their homes. In Naperville there are a lot of restaurants, coffee shops, and parks. Many families and young professionals live in Naperville, and residents tend to have moderate political views. The public schools in Naperville are highly rated."

This isn't the city's first time standing out on Niche's annual roundup. In 2023, Naperville ranked fourth in Niche's Best Places to Live in America. A 2023 ranking by Niche put Naperville Community Unit District 203 among the top 10 school districts in Illinois.
