Naperville's Centennial Beach Shifts To Late-Season Swim Schedule

NAPERVILLE, IL — As summer begins to wind down and the calendar approaches Labor Day, Centennial Beach recently announced its late-season schedule.

The Naperville Park District announced recently that the pool will operate on a limited hours schedule after being closed on Wednesday. Beginning on Thursday this week, Centennial Beach will offer weekday afternoon swimming hours for two days as well as two days early next week, officials said.

Weekend hours will remain the same for the remainder of the season.

The Park District also announced that the Riverwalk Café is closed for the season due to a lack of available staff. Online ordering is available at Centennial Grill for Riverwalk visitors at its website.

Here is the swimming schedule for the remainder of the season:

• Wednesday: Closed
• Thursday, Friday: 4:00-7:00 p.m. – Open Swim
• August 20: 9:00-10:55 a.m. – Adult Float

11:00 a.m. – Dusk – Open Swim

August 21: 9:00-10:55 a.m. – Adult Float

11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. – Open Swim

• August 22-23: 4:00-7:00 p.m. – Open Swim
• August 24-26 – Closed
• August 27: 9:00-10:55 a.m. – Adult Float

11:00 a.m. – Dusk – Open Swim

• August 28: 9:00-10:55 a.m. – Adult Float

11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. – Open Swim

• August 29-September 2 – Closed
• September 3: 9:00-10:55 a.m. – Adult Float
• 11:00 a.m. – Dusk – Open Swim
• September 4: 9:00-10:55 a.m. – Adult Float
