New Patio, Pizza Samples Live Music: Lou Malnati's Marks 30 Years

NAPERVILLE, IL — A brand-new patio, pizza samples, live music and the chance to win free pizza for life are just some of the festivities Lou Malnati's Pizzeria has in store to celebrate its 30th anniversary in downtown Naperville.

The May 23 event kicks off at 4:30 p.m., with a ribbon-cutting ceremony planned for 4:45 p.m. that will feature remarks about the pizzeria's history in Naperville. Free pizza samples will be available until 5:30 p.m.

Live cover music will be played by one of Lou Malnati's Pizzeria's bartenders, featuring cover tunes from the 1960s until now.

Diners who stop by anytime between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. can get some free branded merchandise and enter for a chance to win the free lifetime supply of Lou Malnati's pizza.

“We’re grateful to the people of Naperville for continuing to support the restaurant three decades later,” owner Marc Malnati shared in statement. “We’re excited to celebrate our new patio in honor of this milestone anniversary and we’re looking forward to serving our legendary deep-dish pizza to our hungry loyal fans for another 30 years."

The Lou Malnati's at 131 W. Jefferson Ave. was built in a historic firehouse that dates back to the late 19th century.
