The rally and march will be held April 15 at The Old Stone Church, 14 S. Washington Blvd.
NAPERVILLE, IL — This Tax Day, demonstrators will gather in Naperville for the No Taxes for Tyrants rally and march. The rally, organized in protest of nationwide funding cuts to education, public health and other services, will begin at 5:30 p.m. at The Old Stone Church.
In the event description, organizers Indivisible Naperville wrote, "Every day we hear about more funding being cut and more agencies on their way to privatization by Trump, Musk, and the spineless GOP, taking away tax dollars from our communities and funneling them upward to the oligarchs. So we're declaring April 15, Tax Day, as No Taxes for Tyrants to demand that our tax dollars be used to fund public education, public health, scientific research, environmental protections and more."
The protest will feature remarks from EPA chemist Colin Kramer, State Senator Laura Ellman, West Suburban Teachers Union Vice President Kyle Stern and other local figures.
